GRADEC is a think tank for Ghana's emerging leaders. We convene graduates, professionals, and thinkers to develop rigorous policy ideas that move the needle on pressing national challenges.
We investigate critical issues facing Ghana—from education to governance to economic policy—with intellectual rigor and practical focus.
We host conversations with thinkers, policymakers, and practitioners. These aren't seminars; they're debates that sharpen ideas.
Our members are where the real work happens. We provide the space for thinking partners to collaborate, challenge, and push each other.
The Graduate Democrats Caucus (GRADEC) is a membership-based organisation dedicated to developing and promoting evidence-based policy ideas for Ghana. We believe that the country's challenges require more than rhetoric—they require rigorous thinking, honest debate, and people willing to do the intellectual work.
Ghana has talented people. What it lacks is institutional spaces where those people can think together about hard problems. GRADEC exists to fill that gap.
We operate with three principles:
GRADEC operates on three fronts:
Everything we do is rooted in evidence and grounded in Ghana's specific context.
Our team brings together economists, educators, health professionals, governance experts, and strategists—all committed to rigorous thinking about Ghana's future.
